Interesting side-note: It took me a second watch to understand that reference. The term “flying monkeys” is so ingrained in our culture that I didn’t even connect it to Wizard of Oz until I really thought about it. Before then I’d just thought “Oh, it’s such a part of our vernacular that he gets what it means”, instead of “Oh, because Wizard of Oz!” It’s amazing because, like, I’ve seen Wizard of Oz a billion damn times! Wow man, I am such a lame-o.

So I saw Avengers again tonight. It was just as good the second time. The experience is still absolutely fantastic. It will floor me every time. If you’ve seen it once, you owe it to yourself to see it again. If you haven’t seen it at all yet, WHAT ARE YOU READING THIS SHIT FOR!? GO SEE IT POSTHASTE!

If I have the opportunity, I will surely see it thrice.
